I started doing research on this vehicle purchase in late November, and have been comparing prices through December, so I have a pretty good idea of availability and market asking price when the New Year comes around, when I know I will finally have time to make serious purchase decision in January. After I knew the specific trim level I was after, I began testing vehicles mid January. Until I test drove the one at EuroBahn on an early Monday morning and was the third since I started shopping. I was immediately greeted by Daca; we looked at the vehicle and went over the CarFax report and then was offered a test drive. I raised two maintenance concerns based on the history report and road test. Upon returning to the dealership, she immediately notified Ray, the general manager, and voiced my concerns. He suggested that they would put the vehicle on a lift to examine the issue. I mentioned that I still have some vehicles to test out in the afternoon, but would keep this one in mind. There was no pressure, no tension, both Daca and Ray were both very relaxed and understanding. After looking at a few more vehicles of the same trim level, I decided to reach out to Daca and expressed interest on the vehicle under the condition that if they could address the maintenance issue I flagged. So we arranged a time to return to the dealership and examine the vehicle in greater details. When I arrived at the dealership, the vehicle was already on the lift with an assigned mechanic to work on the issue. Daca and Ray were both present when we inspected the vehicle and we agreed on a solution, thus I moved on with the purchase. Long story short, the whole experience at EuroBahn was very pleasant, relax and straight forward, it was what a retail experience should be instead of running high pressure tactics. There were also no ballooned dealership fee, mandatory service contract, no destination fee like some other dealers that I had visited. A vehicle is not a small purchase but a long term investment, this dealership is managed by car people and put their customer needs first.
